
Bruce Walton
President
Bruce Walton joined Aurora Diagnostics as Vice President of Operations in 2009 bringing with him over 28 years of experience in sales, marketing, and operations management of pathology and diagnostic laboratory services. Mr. Walton currently serves as President of Aurora Diagnostics where he is responsible for overseeing Aurora’s 32 Pathology practices and anatomic laboratories, 220+ sub-specialized pathologists, 1,200 employees, as well as Aurora’s integrated corporate services. Mr. Walton has served with distinction in an impressive series of roles in operations, acquisitions, contracting and sales and marketing leadership positions within the pathology/laboratory services industry. Previous experience included, AmeriPath, Inc. (1999-2008) an anatomic pathology services industry market leader with more than 400 pathologists and Ph.D.-level scientists at some 200 hospitals and independent laboratories. Mr. Walton progressed at Ameripath to the position of President of Anatomic Pathology. Previously served as owner and executive with Interactive Information, Inc. (1997-98). Started his healthcare career with C. R. Bard, Inc. (1984-97) a publically held leading company in the medical devices industry where he progressed to the position of Director of Sales. Mr. Walton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Michael J. Null
Chief Commercial Officer and Aurora Research Institute, President
Mr. Null has over 20 years’ experience as an business executive, having previously worked for Asterand¨ plc, Renaissance Worldwide, Inc.; and DIANON Systems, Inc. Mr. Null came to Aurora from Asterand, a leading provider of human tissue-based research services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, where he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing. While at Asterand, he led an international team that generated more than 40 percent organic revenue growth for four consecutive years in North America, Europe, and the Orient. During his tenure at Renaissance, a global information technology consulting and staffing company, he served as a senior account manager and as Business Development Manager responsible for the strategic alliance program with IBM, Mercury Interactive, Inc.; Cisco Systems, Inc.; and Compuware, Inc. Prior to Renaissance, Mr. Null spent five years with DIANON Systems as a sales representative and Pacific area manager. Mr. Null holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University.

Michael Grattendick
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Grattendick has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. As a member of Aurora Diagnostics since its inception in 2006, Mr. Grattendick has served as Director of Finance/Treasury and Vice President/Controller, and assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2018. His areas of responsibility include accounting, finance, treasury, accounts payable, purchasing, and payroll. Mr. Grattendick is a graduate of Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

F. Michael Walsh MD, MBA, CPE, FCAP, FACPE (Distinguished)
Chief Medical Officer
Michael Walsh MD, MBA, CPE, FCAP, FCAPE was the founder and President of Consultants in Laboratory Medicine of Greater Toledo, which was acquired by Aurora Diagnostics in October 2015. He has served as the Chairman of the Department of Pathology and Medical Director of the Clinical Laboratories for ProMedica Health Systems over the past 27 years. Dr. Walsh helped integrate 12 hospital laboratories into that health system.
He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (BS), the Medical College of Wisconsin (MD) and Farleigh Dickinson University (MBA‐Management). His training in Pathology was at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD (Chief Resident – Anatomic and Clinical Pathology) and the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD (Chemical Pathology/Clinical Chemistry. Dr. Walsh is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic, Clinical and Chemical Pathology as well as the American Board of Medical Management as a Certified Physician Executive.

Gary Davis
VP of Dermatology Sales
Mr. Davis is currently the Vice President of Dermatology Sales and has over 25 years of experience in dermatology sales and marketing, with over 15 years in executive sales management. He has focused the majority of his career specifically in the specialty of dermatopathology. Prior to joining AuroraDx in 2011, he was a founding member of Global Pathology Laboratory Services and formerly Vice President of Sales for AmeriPath, Inc. He has tremendous experience working within the dermatology market throughout the US and building sales structures to secure dermatology sales revenue. Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity International University.


Marci Haas
VP of Managed Care
Marci Haas has over 25 years of progressive experience in various health care industries including ambulatory care and medical devices and managed care. As Vice President of Managed care, she is responsible for payer contract negotiations and managed care services including payer enrollment, and physician credentialing and licensing. Just prior to joining Aurora in 2015, Marci was Vice President of Operations for Unified Physician Management, a Management Services Organization to over 1000 physicians in multiple states. In that role, she was responsible for the overall planning, leadership, organization, execution and management of core MSO service activities; including revenue cycle management, managed care, account management, and implementation of a practice management/EHR system. Prior to that, Marci was responsible for hospital, physician, and ancillary contracting at AvMed Healthplans. She had also risen through the ranks from Director to COO at MDNY, a New York based, provider owned managed care plan. Marci received her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO and her Bachelor of Science in Management from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA.


Julie Reynolds
VP of Revenue Cycle Management
Julie Reynolds has over 20 years of experience in finance leadership rolls. Ms. Reynolds joined the laboratory industry in 2011 as an Accounting Manager and served as Director and Associate Vice President of Accounting. She assumed the role of Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management in 2015, responsible for all aspects of the firm’s revenue functions including billing, collections and all aspects of accounts receivables. Ms. Reynolds graduated in 1992 from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. In 2007 received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and has successfully completed the certified public accounting examination.

Deanna Shackley-Fantin
VP of Human Resources
Deanna Shackley Fantin joined Aurora Diagnostics at its inception in 2006, bringing with her a record of achievement and experience in human resources, health care, and the laboratory industry. As Vice President of Human Resources, she is responsible for all aspects of the company’s strategic human resources functions, including employment law, employee relations, recruitment and retention, training and development, safety, compensation and benefits. Ms. Shackley is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources by the Society for Human Resource Management.

Amy Zabrosky
VP of AP Sales
Graduated in 2005 from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing with an emphasis in Biology/Chemistry. Joined the laboratory industry immediately after graduating and was responsible for identifying new sales opportunities in both AP and CP. In 2006, Amy joined the sales team for LMC Pathology which later became a division of Aurora Diagnostics. Amy has moved through the ranks of the sales organization by being promoted from a field representative to a Regional Sales Manager, and most recently to Vice President of Sales for AP. Amy has led her team to success by developing innovative sales strategies which leverage the company’s quality and diagnostic expertise in the market.
