XPERT CYTOPATHOLOGISTS
Our board-certified pathologists, led by Dr. Carla B. MacLeod, are experts in the field of cytopathology, with special training in the performance and interpretation of FNA biopsies. They bring more than 40 years of combined experience performing and diagnosing FNA biopsies. Dr. MacLeod was trained at the Medical College of Virginia (Richmond, VA) by FNA biopsy pioneer Dr. W Jack Frable and is certified to use ultrasound guidance technique.
PATIENT COMFORT & CONVENIENCE
Dr. MacLeod performs ultrasound guided FNA biopsies in our comfortable office setting in
Gaithersburg, MD. Parking is easy and patient education is available in English and Spanish. We participate with almost all insurance companies and billing questions or concerns are easily handled by in-office staff focused on patient care and satisfaction.
LOCAL & PERSONAL SERVICE
Partnering with CBM Pathology allows our referring physicians and patients to avoid delays in processing due to distance, difficult communication and diagnosis by unknown cytopathologists. Our clients know who is performing and diagnosing their FNA each time, and communication between our cytopathologists and the referring physician is direct and easy for any consult or case discussion.
