Aurora Diagnostics’ team of board-certified hematopathologists offers experience and expertise in the provision of hematology/oncology services. Our community-based physician practices ensure that you enjoy personalized services to assist you in the delivery of optimal patient care. Our physician practices and hematopathology services review a comprehensive array of hematologic malignancies and cooperate with ongoing clinical trials (SWOG, COG, U.S. Oncology Group) and research investigations involving lymphomas/leukemias. Many of our hematopathologists have maintained academic interests by publishing journal articles and reference text chapters as well as by serving on the editorial boards of peer-reviewed, scientific publications.
Our specialists carefully examine every patient’s tissue specimen in order to render a reliable and accurate diagnosis. Moreover, our pathologists employ a variety of sophisticated diagnostic techniques, including advanced flow cytometry, cytogenetics, FISH, and polymerase chain reaction (PCR), to ensure the precision of each diagnosis and to assist the referring physician in the selection of the most appropriate patient treatment option.
