Palm Beach Gardens, FL – August 2011. Aurora Diagnostics is pleased to announce the addition of Global Pathology Laboratory Services to its national network of dermatopathology practices. Global Pathology’s 11-year tradition of providing exceptional dermatopathology services to its referring physicians will mesh perfectly with Aurora Diagnostics’ longstanding reputation of excellence within its locally supported dermatology communities.
Global Pathology, located in Miami Lakes, FL, has earned a sterling reputation for its provision of superb dermatopathology services, its personalized customer services, and its unwavering commitment to the dermatology community through its dermatology residency program. Global Pathology’s staff of board-certified dermatopathologists includes Dr. Evangelos G. Poulos, President and Cofounder; Dr. Andrew J. Hanly, Medical Director and Cofounder; Dr. Eli J. Piatigorsky, M.D.; Dr. Bettina A. Murphy, M.D.; and Dr. Nicole C. Prall, M.D.

Dr. Poulos is presently appointed as an associate professor of pathology, Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Lauderdale-Davie, FL, and as an assistant professor of dermatology and cutaneous surgery, University of Miami School of Medicine. Dr. Poulos also actively participates in education activities at Suncoast Hospital, Largo, FL.
Both Dr. Poulos and Dr. Hanly are actively engaged in the teaching of dermatology and dermatopathology residents from locations throughout the United States. Their current teaching venues include dermatology and dermatopathology residents who report to Global Pathology for specialized training, weekly review conferences at the Department of Dermatology, University of Miami School of Medicine, and dermatopathology review conferences at the Department of Dermatology, University of Miami School of Medicine.
Global Pathology Laboratory Services includes a full-service dermatopathology laboratory that serves physicians and patients, nationwide. Global Pathology will continue to focus on the provision of primary dermatopathology services, consultations on difficult cases, and the conduct of esoteric testing to assist referring clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of skin disease.
