Aurora Diagnostics offers a comprehensive test menu, ensuring that you and your patients have access to the latest and most-relevant testing array. Our physicians routinely integrate the diagnostic tools at their disposal in order to provide the accurate and definitive diagnoses necessary to optimize patient treatment planning. Our testing menu includes the following:

• Histology services:

- Routine histology on mucosal biopsies
- Special stains
- IHC

• Cytology services:

- Routine cytologic evaluations are available for cyst aspirations and all types of fine
needle aspirations
- Exfoliated (brushings, lavages, fluids)
- Nonexfoliated (fine needle aspirations, touch preparations)

• Colon cancer studies:

- IHC profile of DNA mismatch repair genes hMLH1, hMSH2, hMSH6
- Microsatellite instability testing by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)
- EGFR pharmDX™

• Prognostic tumor markers
Although tumor markers are not definitive indicators of cancer, their existence, when considered in
combination with other pathology laboratory testing results, may support a diagnostic conclusion.
