Bruce Walton Named President and COO of Aurora Diagnostics

may11PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Aurora Diagnostics announced today that Bruce Walton, the company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) since January 2015, has been promoted to President and COO.

Mr. Walton has held leadership positions of increasing responsibility with Aurora since he joined the Company in 2009. In addition to his role in heading operations that support the company’s 32 pathology practices, he has been the leader of the business development function, driving the acquisition and integration of new practices. Mr. Walton has also been instrumental in creating strategies that have shaped the company’s service portfolio, including innovative molecular/next generation assays that put Aurora Diagnostics at the leading edge of pathology today.
