Aurora Diagnostics Announces Enhanced Relationship With Modernizing Medicine

feb6PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Aurora Diagnostics, a leading independent pathology services and cancer diagnostics company, today announced an expanded relationship with Modernizing Medicine, a specialty-specific health information technology company.

Modernizing Medicine has developed a cloud-based, data-driven solution suite designed to transform the clinical, financial and operational aspects of specialty practices.

In teaming with Modernizing Medicine, Aurora Diagnostics will work to improve patient care while enhancing efficiencies in many different areas.

Through an interface with Modernizing Medicine’s system, Aurora Diagnostics will receive the patient’s visit note that includes the visit clinical information, clinical images taken during the visit as well patient’s medical history such as medications and allergies. Aurora Diagnostics’ doctors will view this information as part of the routine process, enhancing their ability to understand the specific situation.
