Rei Lopez Joins Aurora Diagnostics as Vice President of Hospital Operations

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Aurora Diagnostics announced today that Rei Lopez will join the company as Vice President of Hospital Operations. In this role, Mr. Lopez will focus on supporting and expanding Aurora’s hospital partnerships. Aurora is a leading national provider of pathology lab management and staffing services for hospitals, and the Company views this as an important growth opportunity.

Mr. Lopez brings 31 years of health care experience to the Aurora Diagnostics team, specializing in administration and business operations. He has held leadership positions in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. He was most recently the Corporate Director of Laboratory Operations for Universal Health Services of Delaware, Inc., a national organization that includes 25 acute care hospitals, where he worked for more than 12 years.

Mr. Lopez holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Master’s degree in Science Administration from Andrews University.
